This fall I am taking a plein air painting workshop here in Stockton. It is taught by Ty Hodanish at his studio at the Prallsville Mills. From what Mr. Hodanish said, there has only been one time that he had a student that just couldn’t be taught. Dear Lord, please don’t let me be number two.

So…most of the students have these really nice plein air portable easels; I have a tripod that keeps falling over. But, I’ve gotta see how this goes. Plein air, you know that means outside in French, right?
